Why should I join a support group?

Life Groups consists of 4 to 20 people gathering with common interest in a designated area. Meeting weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, to share food, fellowship, activity, and/or common interest.
Life Groups can provide an environment where like-minded individuals and similar relationships are fostered.

We are multiple Life Groups, giving students the opportunity to choose which group is best for them.

The Fitness Empire is built on a foundation of acceptance and seeks to provide its members with all the tools necessary to grow in their relationship with each other and be able to showcase their passion to everyone they come in contact with. TFE does this through its hobby based outings, weekly accountability check-ins, peer lead activities, outreach opportunities and in gym studio Life Groups sessions.

Our Fitness and Wellness studio offer Life Groups, Community Groups, hobby groups with one or more facilitators. All Life Groups and Community Groups are led by members who expressed a desire help their fellow peers have a better understand of their passion project(s) and how to live it out unapologetically.

There are many reasons why you should consider setting aside an hour out of your time to join a Life Group.

1. To Met Other Royals

Going to Life Group is a fantastic way to make friends! Whether you’re a brand new member or a seasoned Queen, it’s always great to meet new people. Life Group is full of deep conversations, making it easy to get to know people fast. Oftentimes, Life Groups are small groups, another factor in helping you get to know one another more intimately.

2. To Be Mentored

Life Group is a perfect place to be mentored by your peers. If you are stressed about an issue in your life, bring it to Life Group. Your Life Leader is there to help you through your struggles and pray alongside you. They also give great advice.

3. To Work on Personal/Corporate goals

One thing many Christians don’t do enough is read the Bible. College students are especially busy, making it even harder to find time to read it. Taking the time to go to Life Group ensures that you are making time to fellowship with others as well as read the Word.

4. To Take a Break

Life is so busy, and it seems like we’re always studying, but Life Group is a great excuse to stop studying for classes and start studying the Bible. Studying can take its toll and it’s important to take breaks, especially if it’s for Life Group.

5. To Help One Another

Life Group is a built-in support group. Bring your weakness, Bring your questions, Bring your wisdom. Ask your Life Group, or just your Life Leader, to pray for you. Prayer is powerful and it helps to have a team of people there to support you.

The Fitness Empire is devoted to assisting and serving women. If you would like to learn more about our The Fitness Empire or would like to speak to someone about our life groups please visit our website contact page or out the Queen Court Blog.
